Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Alien AI applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Alien AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and target audience

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Our app store listings target users aged 13–15, 16–17, and 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer the Service to children under 13.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Content ratings

Alien AI is rated on Google Play through the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC). Regional badges describe content suitability; account eligibility remains 13+ regardless of those badges.

You are responsible for content you create or share. Do not post material that violates applicable law, store policies, or the rating category of the Service.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not:

• share, sell, or transfer your account to another person;
• use another person's account without permission;
• create accounts through automated or fraudulent means.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not:

• violate applicable law or the rights of others;
• upload malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing;
• attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, other users, or connected networks;
• reverse engineer or extract source code except where permitted by law;
• use the Service to generate or distribute content that exploits minors or promotes violence or hatred.

Communications features

The Service includes messaging, voice, video, push-to-talk, and related real-time features. You are responsible for communications you send and for obtaining any consent required before recording or sharing another person's voice, image, or personal data.

We may retain message metadata and content as described in our Privacy Policy to deliver, sync, secure, and improve the Service.

AI features

Assistant and automation features may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate output. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions. Do not use the Service in ways that violate provider policies or applicable regulations.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that doing so does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

Files and media

When you upload images or other files, they may be stored on our file service and referenced by URL in chat, your profile, or other features. You are responsible for what you upload and share.

Health and wellness

Optional health and wellness tools (such as water and food logging) are provided for general personal tracking only. They are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions.

Financial features

Wallet, referral, marketplace, and payment features let you manage balances and transactions within the Service or connected sites. We are not a bank or licensed financial institution. You are responsible for tax, compliance, and accuracy of information you provide in financial flows. Additional terms may apply at checkout or in site-specific policies.

Android app permissions

On Android, the app may use foreground services and system permissions so realtime chat, calls, push-to-talk, notifications, and optional screen sharing work reliably. A notification is shown while background services are active. You can revoke permissions or stop services in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

Advertising

Alien AI does not show third-party advertising inside the app. Device identifiers related to analytics or push delivery are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and our Google Play Data safety disclosure.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate sign-in providers, speech engines, model providers, calling infrastructure, and other third parties. Your use of those features may be subject to their terms and privacy practices in addition to ours.

Service changes

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if needed to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALIEN AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANY AMOUNT.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Alien AI against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
